Day trips to nearby attractions

There are a number of valuable excursions at a comfortable distance from Tucepi. You can choose to visit some of the nearby national parks, check out www.biokovo.com, www.krka.hr, www.plitvice.com or some of the cities that attract the curiosity of many visitors to Croatia. Dubrovnik, the pearl of Croatia or Split, the big city with 2000 years of history. Mostar and Sarajevo in neighboring Bosnia-Herzegovina are another option. Your choice!

Just an amazing place!

The national park covers most of the river Krka’s river and in addition to the natural monument there are many cultural-historical monuments. The Franciscan monastery on the small island of Visovac is particularly noticeable. This natural gem is located in a part of the river that forms a lake.

The crystal clear waters of the Krka waterfall are stunningly beautiful.

Krka in the middle of a canyon and you will also find several old castles on the river islands. Visitors can also see old mills that have been renovated and converted into small ethnographic museums that show how grain was milled once upon a time.

Krka National Park is closer to the tourist resorts and unlike Plitvice, it is allowed to swim in the Krka River and the various waterfalls, including the most popular waterfall Skradinski Buk, which you can see in the picture above. In the park there are also laid out walking paths with wooden planks and paths.

Beautiful Krka!

Getting to different places in Croatia by car is usually easy and convenient. The roads are well developed and for longer distances there is a motorway with 130 in speed limit. The road from Tucepi to Krka takes the E65 north. Then follow the E65 towards the D33 in Dubrava code Šibenika. Then exit 22-Šibenik from E65 and finally D33 towards the goal. The total travel time is about 3 hours with a distance of 180 km.
